Job Purpose:
With direction from the Department Manager and Partners, this position is responsible for the overall direction and management of all aspects of the Cafeteria/Flex department and client relationships to ensure client satisfaction. Ensure work is completed in an efficient manner with a high focus on accuracy and complying with all applicable regulations.
Essential Job Duties:
- The primary responsibility for this role is to manage incoming phone calls, which can be high in volume at times;.
- Processes payments daily and ensures accuracy when they are uploaded and mailed;
- Implements and maintains operational controls/processes throughout the department to ensure the security and confidentiality of client/participant information and records;
- Processes claims and substantiation daily to ensure customer satisfaction;
- Ensures that client and participant questions are addressed, decisions have been acted upon and problems have been resolved;
- Promotes continuous evaluation and improvement of administrative processes, client set-up, ongoing administration, customer service, and related HSA procedures;
- Responsible for overseeing all things customer service;
- Maintains excellent customer service on all calls to ensure a good experience for all;
- Reports progress and performance to the Department Manager as appropriate and provides feedback to team members. Ensures that corrective plans of action are developed as required and takes action to facilitate the success of those plans;
- Works cooperatively with other MAI departments to coordinate resources where appropriate and take necessary steps to manage, meet or exceed client expectations in support of a mutually satisfactory business partnership. This includes working with other MAI departments to resolve issues and improve internal processes that affect client satisfaction;
- Handles or performs special projects as requested by Department Manager/Partners or clients that are appropriate based on knowledge, position and background;
- Supports MAIs goal to maintain a 100% client retention rate;
- Any other assigned tasks given by a Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Education College degree preferred;
- FSA/HRA administration experience is helpful;
- Strong time management skills;
- Ability to multi-task;
- Extensive planning and management skills (projects, initiatives, etc.);
- Relationship builder;
- Strong communication skills.
