Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Occupational Therapist role is available for the 2026-2027 school year within a K-12 educational setting located approximately one hour north of Wilmington, NC. This position offers a 39-hour work week supporting students across all K-12 grade levels. The role focuses on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services tailored to support student development, independence, and success in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for K-12 students
- Implement treatment interventions to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student goals and progress
- Document student progress and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support classroom curriculum through therapeutic activities and consultation
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and educational demands
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location & Work Schedule:
- Position based near Camp Lejeune, NC, approximately one hour north of Wilmington, NC
- Contract duration: non-school year specified (NSY)
- 39 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year
