The Acute Registered Nurse (RN) in our Home Health program delivers exceptional advanced acute care within a home environment. The RN will conduct clinical assessments, offer education, administer treatments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Responsibilities:

The Acute Registered Nurse (RN) will:

  • Provide high-quality advanced acute care in a home setting.
  • Deliver daily patient care that meets hospital-level standards.
  • Conduct clinical and home assessments.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans.
  • Document patient progress and treatments accurately.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary clinical teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    • Completion of an accredited registered nursing program.
  • Licensure:
    • Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, fulfilling all state board requirements.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute care or emergency department setting.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong nursing, communication, and organizational skills for effective home visits.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse populations.
    • Proficiency in various computer applications and technologies.
    • Willingness to travel within the designated geographic area.
