Job Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the team on a temporary assignment. In this role, you’ll work closely with physicians and the stress lab team to perform nuclear medicine studies, with a strong focus on cardiac imaging. You’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.


Requirements:

  • Certification: ARRT (N) or NMTCB, Texas Medical Board license, and BLS
  • At least 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
  • Must be comfortable with cardiac-heavy workload and able to partner with the stress lab
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures safely and accurately
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout exams
  • Safely handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the imaging team to deliver high-quality care
