Job Title: SU3 Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our team. You will be part of a fast-paced production environment, assembling sub-components and finished products using a variety of hand and power tools. This role involves working with metal products and operating overhead cranes to build power equipment. You will work alongside a team member to fulfill daily product orders.
Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools.
- Fit metal products together using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate overhead cranes to move larger units
- Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.
- Maintain a fast-paced production and assembly environment.
- Lift and fit products weighing over 60lbs.
- Perform physical activities such as lifting, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics.
- Experience with overhead crane operation.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion.
- Ability to lift 50lbs+ independently.
- Capability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, organized, and spacious manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production. Our facility operates on a first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility to extend to 3:30 PM and some Saturdays. The second shift runs from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, potentially extending to 11:30 PM and some Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.75/hr.
