Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Westport, MA, for a contract position spanning the 2025-2026 school year. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct speech therapy services while supervising support staff within a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP License in Massachusetts (MA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 28, 2025
- End Date: December 20, 2025
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM
- Student Population: Elementary-aged children
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Supervise and oversee the work of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Conduct formal evaluations to assess student speech and language needs
- Participate actively in team meetings to discuss student progress and therapy plans
