Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity to support student communication and development. This full-time, contract position is for the 2025-2026 school year and requires onsite work primarily at the main location with additional support scope across multiple sites including out-of-district placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology assessments and individualized therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in accordance with established guidelines.
- Support students across various school sites including the main campus and additional locations in the Barre and Berlin areas.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) and eligible for school-based practice.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings and knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations in educational and healthcare environments.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites within the region as required.
Location: Lyndonville, VT, with travel to surrounding areas including Cabot, Twinfield, Barre, and Berlin.
Compensation: $45-$55 per hour.
