Position: RN – Main OR Surgery Services
Location: Chico, CA
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 6:30 AM Start (8 or 10 Hour Option)
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in the main OR at a Level II trauma facility. Responsibilities include patient care in surgery, potential float to outpatient surgery as needed, maintaining patient safety, and documentation using EPIC EMR. The role also requires holiday coverage and on-call support when necessary.
Requirements:
Current California RN license
Minimum 2 years perioperative experience
Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS Certification
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
Ability to float to Med/Surg or Critical Care units as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
CNOR certification
Experience in trauma or high-acuity surgical settings
