Job DescriptionWarehouse Associate / Forklift Operator – Berkeley, IL Location: 5600 Proviso Drive, Berkeley, IL 60163
Pay: $18–$19/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Duration: 3-Month Contract | 4 Openings
Position Summary:
We’re hiring Warehouse Associates / Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role involves safely operating forklifts, handling materials, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials
Handle inbound and outbound shipments using handheld scanners
Pull and complete work orders accurately
Inspect and record any product damages or discrepancies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
Complete daily paperwork and communicate with supervisors
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience (forklift required)
Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
Work Environment:
Indoor/outdoor warehouse setting with exposure to weather, heavy materials, and moving equipment. PPE required.
