Manufacturing Operations Manager
Job Description
Partners Professional is currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operations Managers for consideration for our clients located in Cumming GA. The selected client will oversee daily production operations, drive efficiency and ensuring high-quality standards are met and exceeded. This role will require strong leadership and operational expertise. This role will require a solid background in accounting, budgeting and cost control, supporting the financial management within the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are achieved.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, reduce waste, and improve workflow.
- Lead, mentor, and manage production teams to foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Partner with finance to prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Track and analyze operational costs, labor efficiency, and material usage to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports for senior management decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Support capital project planning, including cost analysis and ROI evaluation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record of leadership and operational success.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing financial metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodology experience is a plus.
This position will be onsite daily at the facility located in Cumming GA. You must Currently reside in a comfortable commute radius – this is not open for a relocation package.
