Job DescriptionPowders Compounder
Sharonville, OH | 1:00PM-9:30PM M-F with possible overtime | 22-24hr.
The Powders Compounder is responsible for accurately measuring, blending, and processing powdered ingredients used in the production of custom flavor formulations. This role ensures that all powder blends meet quality, safety, and customer specifications while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weigh and blend powdered ingredients according to precise formulations and batch records.
- Operate mixing and blending equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow production schedules and work orders to meet sample and production deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of batch production, ingredient usage, and inventory.
- Label and package finished powder blends for internal use or customer shipment.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
- Report any deviations, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing raw materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, flavor compounding, or a similar production environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret batch sheets, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices is a plus.
