The Office Clerk-Accounting plays a crucial role in supporting the accounting department by maintaning smooth administrative operations. Working primarily with QuickBooks within a small team, this role involves handling various clerical tasks and some accounting must be efficient and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry using in QuickBooks
  • File and organize documents and records
  • Process invoices and call customers to keep accounts receivable current
  • Maintain accurate record keeping
  • Generate accounts receivable reports as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding inquiries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in clerical and accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Good communication skills
