The Office Clerk-Accounting plays a crucial role in supporting the accounting department by maintaning smooth administrative operations. Working primarily with QuickBooks within a small team, this role involves handling various clerical tasks and some accounting must be efficient and organized.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry using in QuickBooks
- File and organize documents and records
- Process invoices and call customers to keep accounts receivable current
- Maintain accurate record keeping
- Generate accounts receivable reports as needed
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding inquiries
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in clerical and accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong data entry skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Good communication skills
