WAGE RANGE: $ 66,000 – $72,000/annually
JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Engagement Coordinator is responsible for supporting clients and their families in the Day Treatment program. Involved in the client and family from program eligibility/admission is established until a client exits the program. The role involves coordinating client and family communication including preboarding, onboarding, and during the program’s services.
The coordinator works closely with the program leaders and teams, school liaisons, and other Day Treatment stakeholders ensuring the best experience for the program clients and their families.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Process client referrals
- Coordinate program admissions and census
- Facilitate intakes, including pre-admission, pre-boarding, and orientation.
- Maintain client caseload and provide occasional psychotherapeutic services as assigned.
- Program outreach and partnerships with other community orgs
- Maintain and develop relationships with referral sources
- Parent advocate/caregiver engagement program development and implementation
- Maintain and communicate updates on census, admissions
- Coordinate with other program staff to ensure intake process is efficient
- Continue to review and develop best practice for referral and admission
- Work with program director and clinical supervisor to develop, coordinate & maintain a continuity of client care and family engagement
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- Current State of Minnesota licensure status as a Mental Health Professional, and documented evidence of compliance with continuing education requirements of licensure.
- Experience with similar school-age treatment types of programs is preferred.
- Experience with clinical counseling, social services, and/or working with a client base with a wide range of family and mental health problems.
- Broad understanding of policies and best practices related to child mental health & welfare related work.
- Has the ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness.
