We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in White Plains. In this role, you will serve as a first point of contact for clients and members, handling a high volume of inbound calls related to healthcare benefits, pension plans, disability, and financial information. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build experience in a healthcare or call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle 100–150 inbound calls per day in a fast-paced call center environment
- Respond to client and customer inquiries regarding healthcare plans, pension plans, disability benefits, and related information
- Accurately document customer conversations and enter information into internal databases while on calls
- Answer and route incoming calls using a high-volume switchboard system
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service on every interaction
- Follow approved scripts while maintaining an enthusiastic and professional tone
- Multitask efficiently between calls, data entry, and clerical support
- Provide additional administrative and clerical assistance as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong customer service skills with a professional phone presence
- Experience in a call center or customer service environment preferred
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and composure
- Solid data entry and computer skills
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems during live calls
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Healthcare, medical, or benefits-related customer service experience
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Experience in healthcare or medical call centers
- Familiarity with pension plans, disability benefits, or healthcare coverage

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
