Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Relevant mechanical assembly experience preferred but not required
- Machine Operation experience
- Effective communication skills
- Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures and process requirements.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
- Visual and Mechanical inspection and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk around consistently thru a full work shift doing repetitive assembly tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection of various automotive components for coating integrity, color requirements and damage per SOP instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly of various automotive components using automatic and manual presses, grease guns and other assembly tools and equipment.
- Perform final inspection of assembled components using various inspection equipment, gages, etc.
- Use computer systems and bar code scanners for lot traceability of components.
- Understand production schedule and daily assembly requirements of various product lines of parts.
