Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (RN – L&D)
Location: Asheville, NC
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential for extension)
Start Date: June 2, 2025
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week || Days/Nights (7:00 – 7:00)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,336.00

• Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,400.00
• Taxable Weekly Wages: $936.00

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery to join a reputable facility in Asheville, NC. This is a travel nursing opportunity ideal for professionals passionate about maternal care and looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients, including high-risk cases.
• Manage immediate newborn care and stabilization.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including NICU and Maternal Fetal Medicine Units.
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner and FetaLink EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years recent RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Licensure: Active North Carolina or Compact RN License

Unit Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• Unit Size: 16 Beds
• Floating Areas: MFMU, MOMB, NICU
• EMR Systems: Cerner, FetaLink
