Job Description:
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations by ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and distributed. This role includes performing daily cycle counts, tracking inventory within an ERP system, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. The Inventory Clerk also supports production by pulling and staging materials, delivering supplies, and ensuring (First In, First Out) practices are followed. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM shift
Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized inventory by labeling and storing materials appropriately
- Track and record inventory locations accurately
- Perform daily cycle counts and identify root causes of discrepancies
- Resolve inventory variances and report findings to management
- Maintain material transactions and locations within the ERP system
- Support month-end inventory processes
- Deliver production materials and supplies as needed
- Lift and move materials up to 20 pounds regularly
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of related experience, or an AA degree with relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of inventory cycle counting and variance analysis
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Must be able to in read, write, and speak English
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds
