Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with Med/Surg Tele and PCU drip experience for an adaptive acuity unit in Vermont.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in an adaptive acuity unit at a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, with occasional assignment to PCU care (3:1 ratio) as needed
- Patient population includes medical-surgical, telemetry, and PCU-level cases
- Travelers may be required to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice
- Drip experience is required
- Charge nurse responsibilities are part of the expected duties
- Own vehicle is required for this assignment
- Holiday requests for time off will not be considered; all scheduling requests must be made prior to submission
- Must be flexible to float across units as needed
- All required references, licenses, and certifications must be submitted for consideration
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment

- Active Vermont or compact RN license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Strong PCU experience and drip experience required
- Minimum 3 months of prior travel nursing experience required
- ICU and critical access facility experience are preferred
