An experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise is needed for a contract position based in Edgerton, WI. This role offers the opportunity to work night shifts in a critical care environment, supporting patient care at one or two Emergency Department locations within Janesville.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation within the ER setting.
• Administer medications and treatments adhering to approved nursing techniques, policies, standards of care, and relevant State laws.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately according to established standards.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans under physician or clinic policy guidelines, including patient and family instruction.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance across units to support patient care continuity.
• Apply critical thinking to enhance patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Engage in professional nursing processes, including peer review and unit practice decisions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Wisconsin RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Certification in TNCC or TNS required.
• Completion of education verification and flu vaccination compliance.
• Prior experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred.
