We are partnering with a fast growing organization in Everett that is in urgent need of a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary long term opportunity (6+ months). This team needs someone who can jump in immediately, bring structure to a backlogged environment, and help stabilize and rebuild their AR function.
This role is for a true doer and fixer who thrives in chaos, enjoys solving complex puzzles, and has the grit to roll up their sleeves. You will work in a highly collaborative environment alongside strong AR leadership that values urgency, accountability, and impact.
The Senior AR Specialist will focus heavily on complex AR reconciliations and GL work, supporting large national accounts across multiple subsidiaries. You will act as a key right hand to AR leadership by identifying missing invoices, resolving discrepancies, chasing overdue balances, and partnering with sales and operations to resolve billing issues.
Day to day, you will review aging reports, prioritize high risk accounts, perform detailed reconciliations, and occasionally support urgent collections communications. Beyond putting out fires, you will help improve processes, policies, and workflows to create a more scalable and efficient AR operation.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of senior level Accounts Receivable experience
- Extremely strong AR reconciliation and GL skills
- Experience supporting large, multi million dollar organizations
- Ability to thrive in a chaotic, backlogged environment
- Advanced Excel skills with large, complex spreadsheets
