Job DescriptionEastern Regional Sales Manager

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven sales professional to join our team with a leading supplier of engineered wood products. This role plays a key part in driving growth through distributor partnerships and expanding market presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support distributor partners by identifying new business opportunities and helping drive their sales success.

  • Travel extensively throughout the region with distributor teams to meet with current and prospective customers, introducing new collections and reinforcing existing ones through ongoing education.

  • Keep distributor partners informed about product launches and updates, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.

  • Lead training sessions for distributor sales teams, serving as the go-to product expert.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with dealers and end-users.

  • Build and execute strategic plans to grow key accounts and long-term partnerships.

  • Stay on top of industry trends, products, and competitors to inform strategy and uncover growth opportunities.

  • Generate leads, schedule appointments, and develop new client relationships proactively.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals to drive revenue and market share.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of success in B2B sales, ideally in the flooring or hard-surface category.

  • Proven ability to build relationships, think creatively, and develop business opportunities.

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.

  • Confident, engaging presenter both in person and over the phone.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Professional presence and strong business acumen focused on exceptional customer experiences.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
