Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed for a contract position in a school setting in Antioch, CA, focusing on students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a contract extending through May 30, 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience in school-based occupational therapy and a passion for supporting the educational and developmental needs of children.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification required
- Experience providing OT services in school and healthcare settings is preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment and intervention strategies tailored to K-12 students
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding student progress
