Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The selected candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports to the client
  • Audit daily timecards and submit to Payroll
  • Coordinate communication between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular status reports.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation, including RFI’s, submittals, and inspection logs
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the resolution of project issues and conflicts.
  • Schedule and attend project meetings, taking detailed notes and following up on action items.

Essential Job Functions & Working Conditions

  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry objects up to 50 lbs
    • Walk, stand, and move around construction sites for extended periods of time.
    • Climb stairs, ladders, and navigate uneven terrain as needed.
    • Wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety standards.
  • Administrative/Desk Work:
    • Perform computer-based tasks including data entry, scheduling, and document management.
    • Use project management and office software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
    • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
    • Maintain focus and attention to detail during extended periods of desk work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in construction project coordination or related role preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Preferred Skills

  • OSHA 10/30 certification
  • Experience with budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Experience in quantity take-offs and estimating
  • Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
  • Experience with Site Surveying is a plus
  • Bilingual abilities

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $27–$32/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
