Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist role is available for a contract position supporting students across multiple education levels, including early childhood, preschool, elementary, middle, and high school settings. This position is located in Derry, NH, and offers the opportunity to provide critical psychological services within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to support student success
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making regarding student placement and support services
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with special education regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed or certified School Psychologist credential
- Experience working with diverse student populations from early childhood through high school
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational laws
- Ability to work effectively with school staff, families, and external professionals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
