Job Description

MANAGER - COUNSELING SERVICES
MUST BE INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED THRU AZ. BOARD OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity Mon - Fri - 8-5
$80,000.00+ doe

Critical Tasks:

Supervises provision of clinical services to ensure development and implementation in accordance with established regulatory requirements and standards.
Reviews, assigns and coordinates incoming cases/referrals to ensure delivery and continuity of care within a safe and effective environment.
Participates in annual planning and operating budget recommendations to increase operational effectiveness and compliance with changing regulations.
Develops and implements annual Quality Improvement and Utilization Review programs incorporating current trends, best practices and changes in regulatory/licensing policies, procedures and standards.
Acts as point of contact/clinical expert on complex clinical and team management issues.
Participates in recruitment and selection of clinical staff, initiates staff development plans, and provides input for clinical staff performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or closely related field.
Current State of Arizona license in behavioral health field: LPC, LCSW or LMFT
CPR certificate within 30 days of hire.
Must have at least 3 years experience in counseling, human services or social work and 2 years management experience.
Current valid State of Arizona driver’s license.
