Summary
Are you passionate about working with toddlers and ready to have fun every day? We’re looking for a Full-Time Toddler Teacher to join our amazing team at Crayon College Child Care Center and help our little learners grow, play, and thrive!
This is a special opportunity to step into a well-loved classroom as the current teacher prepares to welcome her new baby. You’ll inherit an established group of happy toddlers and supportive families—making this a smooth and exciting transition for the right teacher!

Duties
Create and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. We currently use Creative Curriculum
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured play and interaction.
Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
Collaborate with other team members to support a nurturing and educational environment.
Requirements
18 years of age or older
Passion for working with children and helping them reach developmental milestones
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented
Must meet all Washington State DCYF (Department of Children, Youth, and Families) requirements, including but not limited to:
- Completion of a Portable Background Check through the DCYF MERIT system
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Proof of negative TB test or screening
- Up-to-date MMR immunization documentation or exemption
- Completion of required training modules, including 30-hour stars
- Food Handlers Card

Nice To Haves
Previous experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting
ECE college coursework or Early Achievers participation
