Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding to join a leading specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA. This contract-to-hire position offers an excellent platform to apply your clinical pharmacy skills, focusing on the precise preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile preparations in strict adherence to master formula worksheets.
  • Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including USP guidelines.
  • Ensure cleaning and garbing protocols are consistently applied as per company policy.
  • Perform precise calculations and maintain required documentation.
  • Operate production and computerized equipment correctly to uphold quality standards.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and prepare workspaces meticulously before compounding.
  • Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify accuracy, quality, purity, and potency of compounded preparations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active PA Pharmacist license.
  • Recent experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Proven experience in sterile compounding.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
