Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding to join a leading specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA. This contract-to-hire position offers an excellent platform to apply your clinical pharmacy skills, focusing on the precise preparation of sterile and non-sterile compounded medications to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately compound sterile and non-sterile preparations in strict adherence to master formula worksheets.
Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies to maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, including USP guidelines.
Ensure cleaning and garbing protocols are consistently applied as per company policy.
Perform precise calculations and maintain required documentation.
Operate production and computerized equipment correctly to uphold quality standards.
Apply aseptic techniques and prepare workspaces meticulously before compounding.
Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify accuracy, quality, purity, and potency of compounded preparations.
Stay updated on advancements in compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active PA Pharmacist license.
Recent experience in a pharmacy setting.
Proven experience in sterile compounding.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
