This ESY opportunity offers a consistent schedule: three mornings a week—Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, beginning with an orientation session on Monday, June 29th. Your term will run June 29th through August 6th, allowing you to contribute to student growth while maintaining work-life balance.
Compensation for this role ranges from $38 to $45 per hour, reflecting your experience and commitment to students' success.
What you’ll need to bring:
- Valid PA SLP Educator License
- Experience or strong interest in providing PT services in a school-based environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong organizational skills
Daily responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborating with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Documenting assessments, progress, and interventions accurately and timely
- Engaging students in activities to maximize their independence and participation
- Ensuring a safe, positive, and encouraging therapeutic environment
