What You’ll Do
As a junior member of the Controls Engineering group the engineer would do the following: Designing standard and custom electrical control assemblies and systems. Create control designs for PLC, Motor Control, RFID, HMI and SCADA. Review, design, and improve Customer control designs. Work with internal and external suppliers, Manufacturing, and Project Coordinators to ensure adherence to specifications. Test to verify products meet design specifications.
- Design & develop standard and customer specific Turck Engineered Packaged Systems
- Develop & maintain competence in the many fields of electrical design
- Support Quoting Process and Conceptual Design
- Support Engineering Change Orders
- Support Production as needed
- General Administration and Support
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
Preferred:
- AutoCad, Solidworks Eplan or similar CAD experience
- Experience with UL-508 / UL-508A design and build
