CNC Programmer
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support precision machining operations at a large industrial machining facility in Aston, PA. This role is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs used to manufacture and repair critical industrial components.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Mastercam or Siemens NX, a background in precision machining, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and complex machining requirements. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale industrial components and advanced machining projects in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
First Shift: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CNC programs using Mastercam or Siemens NX
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
- Create optimized tool paths to improve machining efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with machinists and engineering teams to ensure production goals are met
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues as they arise
- Verify parts meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity and reduce cycle times
- Assist with setup guidance and technical support for machining operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing or machining environment
- Strong experience with Mastercam or Siemens NX
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in machining operations
Preferences
- Experience working with large industrial components or heavy machining equipment
- Background in industrial repair machining, gear machining, or rotating equipment
- Experience optimizing machining processes and cycle times
- Exposure to multi-axis machining environments
