Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 educational setting in Fairfield, AL. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population, supporting students communication and language development through both in-person and teletherapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all relevant guidelines
- Utilize teletherapy tools as appropriate to ensure consistent service delivery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Alabama
- Credentialed SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations highly desirable
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices and technology is a plus
- Ability to start ASAP and commit through May 2026
Job Details:
- Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
