Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacist opportunity is available for coverage on July 13th in the Bronx, New York. This per diem role involves providing expert pharmacy services during the first shift, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting safe medication dispensing and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of the pharmacy manager
- Counsel and advise patients on medication usage, regimens, and safety
- Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Maintain accurate stock records, including controlled substances and inventories
- Address patient problems and clarify third-party coverage issues as needed
- Utilize Pioneer software to support daily pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
- Active and clear pharmacist license valid in New York State
- Minimum of one year experience in retail pharmacy settings
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
