Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Aurora, CO, serving a diverse school community with mild to severe communication needs. This contract position focuses primarily on elementary and high school students, offering a dynamic caseload for an experienced professional ready to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in a school setting. The role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student success. The position involves onsite work, with potential consideration for candidates open to travel; however, candidates seeking Vocational Rehabilitation positions or Clinical Fellowship roles are not eligible.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within school environments, particularly with mild to severe caseloads spanning elementary and high school levels.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to travel as needed within the district.
