We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Greater Worcester County area. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in managing customer interactions and ensuring seamless order processing to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.


Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders accurately through data entry and maintain order records.

• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on orders.

• Coordinate scheduling with transportation carriers to ensure timely shipping and delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to manage substitutions and revisions.

• Serve as a liaison between warehouse staff, sales teams, and management to address pricing, inventory, and customer concerns.

• Interact with external carriers to confirm load availability and coordinate customer pickups.

• Maintain and update customer databases to manage advanced shipping notices and routing requests.

• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

• Facilitate customer satisfaction by responding to feedback and implementing solutions to improve processes.

• At least 3 years of customer service experience in a related field.

• Familiarity with inventory control and truck scheduling is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

• Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
