The Engagement Supervisor is a key leader within the credit union, dedicated to fostering a culture of exceptional service, financial empowerment, and meaningful community connection. This role leads and coaches a dynamic team, inspiring them to deliver outstanding service while deepening relationships with our members and supporting branch growth. Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering best-in-class service to members in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Maintain punctuality and reliability by consistently adhering to scheduled shifts.
- Effectively supervising and supporting team members, ensuring a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities by managing competing priorities while maintaining service quality.
- Foster approachability and open communication by encouraging team engagement and cohesion.
- Guide team members through processes, helping them balance priorities and navigate complex tasks.
- Uphold organizational standards by promoting MCCU and Branch culture, ensuring alignment with values and expectations.
- Utilize available tools and resources efficiently to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Take decisive, proactive action when faced with unexpected challenges, maintaining a calm and solution-focused approach.
- Follow the appropriate chain of command and escalate concerns as needed modeling professionalism and accountability.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in business or finance a plus.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in customer service or sales, with proven expertise in cash handling and front-line operations.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred, with a clear understanding of banking protocols and compliance.
- Proficient in utilizing scheduling tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, and Templates to manage team schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
- Demonstrates strong leadership in optimizing staff scheduling through creative problem-solving, balancing operational demands with member service excellence.
- Exhibits advanced time management and organizational skills, consistently meeting deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities in a supervisory capacity.
- Proven ability to lead by example in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, while providing coaching, guidance, and performance support to team members.
Schedule
- Schedule will vary: Monday – Friday 7:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
- One Saturday shift per quarter, 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Wage & Hour Details
- Full-time
- Non-exempt
- Starting pay range: $28.00-$32.00, pay commensurate with experience
