We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, honest and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring shelves remain fully stocked.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendy and proffessional manner
- Operate the cash register
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product are in stock
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Prepare coffee and other food service items as needed.
- Monitor fuel pump activity and assist customers when necessary.
- Follow company safety, security, and loss prevention procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties.
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture and values of our Company.
- Promote great team work and readiness to assist with team needs throughout shift.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must keep a clean and polished appearance, wearing the designated uniform and name tag.
- Sweep, mop, dust, remove trash inside and outside, clean and disinfect restrooms.
- Maintain sanitation of dispensers, islands, and other station equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Incredible guest service skills and ability to maintain a guest focused culture
- Ability to complete accurate sales transactions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
- Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
- Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar position
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
