We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will oversee the planning and scheduling of transportation for outbound shipments from third-party warehouses, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and resolving transportation issues.


Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate truck transportation for outbound shipments from third-party warehouse facilities.

• Communicate shipment details effectively with warehouse teams, carriers, and internal departments.

• Obtain freight quotes and choose carriers based on cost, service quality, and delivery timelines.

• Arrange full truckload and less-than-truckload shipments with approved carriers.

• Monitor shipment progress and address delays or issues to ensure on-time delivery.

• Maintain precise records, including bills of lading and other transportation-related documentation.

• Collaborate with warehouse partners to confirm pickup schedules and shipment instructions.

• Track freight expenses and contribute to cost-control efforts.

• Manage special shipping requirements, such as appointment scheduling and compliance with routing instructions.

• Support carrier performance evaluations and foster strong working relationships.


The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000.

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related role.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning and scheduling processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with carriers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Familiarity with freight cost analysis and cost-control strategies.
• Knowledge of full truckload and less-than-truckload shipping methods.
• Problem-solving skills to address transportation delays and ensure timely deliveries.
