Housekeeper (Boutique Hotel)

Compensation: $16-$17 per hour / Full-time

Reports to: Housekeeping Lead

Position Summary: Provide a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Housekeepers help to create a positive experience for guests by ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel guest rooms and public spaces.

A Day in the Life Of:

• Maintains and builds a strong sense of community, integrity, and brand for all who visit and work in our hotel. Embodies outrageous hospitality.
• Ensures the guest rooms, common areas and building remain clean and to the hotel's super high standards.
• Willingness to utilize and become fluent with the task management software. • Develops a thorough knowledge of the hotel room amenities, type of rooms, services of hotel, menu offerings, etc.
• Willingness to do on-site laundry for occasional incidental laundry. • Performs other duties or special projects as assigned by Leadership.

Must Haves:

• Positive and friendly attitude.
• Flexible schedule (mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays included). • Committed to outrageous hospitality and guest service.
• Exemplifies teamwork and is willing to go above and beyond. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with great time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for an extended period of time.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Housekeeping Experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in a customer focused environment.
• High School diploma is required.

Additional information:

• Working days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (availability seven days a week)
• Ability to work as early as 7am and as late as 6pm.
• Ability to work holidays is a must.
