Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Recent ER nursing experience required
- Familiarity with trauma care preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rural hospital environment
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS/TNCC preferred)
- Strong collaborative approach with other healthcare professionals
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process
- Identify patient needs and priorities for care through thorough assessment
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans, involving patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Perform and document therapeutic interventions and ongoing patient assessments
- Serve as liaison among interdisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in risk management, quality improvement, and educational activities
- Comply with personal protective measures and hospital standards for safety
- Maintain punctual attendance and complete required training
