Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license
  • Recent ER nursing experience required
  • Familiarity with trauma care preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rural hospital environment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS/TNCC preferred)
  • Strong collaborative approach with other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process
  • Identify patient needs and priorities for care through thorough assessment
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans, involving patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Perform and document therapeutic interventions and ongoing patient assessments
  • Serve as liaison among interdisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in risk management, quality improvement, and educational activities
  • Comply with personal protective measures and hospital standards for safety
  • Maintain punctual attendance and complete required training
