Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality through meticulous inspection, audits, and testing processes. You will complete written line audits at set intervals, conduct daily material audits, and verify the accuracy of operator inspection sheets. Your responsibilities will include visually inspecting products, verifying functionality of scales, measuring part dimensions, performing incoming and outgoing inspections, and using various measuring equipment such as calipers and height gauges.
Responsibilities
- Complete written line audits at set intervals throughout the shift.
- Audit all products being packed, tape the box when full, and sign the label as required.
- Conduct daily material audits.
- Verify accurate completion of operator inspection sheets.
- Visually inspect products from each press on a daily basis.
- Verify proper functionality of all working scales.
- Measure part dimensions according to quality requirements.
- Perform incoming and outgoing inspections.
- Use calipers, height gauge, and other measuring equipment to interpret drawings and prints.
- Accept and reject products in accordance with quality standards.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience working with blueprints or customer specifications.
- Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
- Comfortable with visual inspection and quality assurance processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Quality control and assurance expertise.
- Experience with CMM and visual inspection techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and prints.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean and well-lit environment with hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required as needed.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.
