Job DescriptionAssembly Supervisor
Union, OH | Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM | Direct Hire
As an Assembly Supervisor you'll lead assembly operations, implement Lean strategies, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and develop a skilled team to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise assembly team and daily workflow.
- Schedule materials and adjust workforce as needed.
- Ensure quality standards and compliance.
- Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives (Kanban, 5S, VSM).
- Manage inventory, RMAs, and production planning.
- Motivate, train, and evaluate employees.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve issues.
- Support continuous improvement and safety programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 2 yrs supervisory experience OR 5–7 yrs in manufacturing leadership.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Lean principles, MRP/ERP (SAP preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office; high math aptitude.
- Ability to work outside normal hours if needed.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a shop environment (no A/C).
