Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team. This role focuses on managing core accounting functions, driving process improvements, and ensuring robust internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a proven record of translating financial data into actionable insights.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger accounting and maintenance, including reconciliations and monthly close processes.

• Prepare and review journal entries while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and accounting standards.

• Analyze financial statements and variance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with operations teams to manage accruals, allocate costs accurately, and understand key financial drivers.

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Assist with quarterly bank covenant reporting and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

• Partner with IT and finance teams to optimize accounting systems and workflows.

• Generate detailed reports and dashboards using advanced Excel techniques and business intelligence tools.

• Contribute to automation initiatives by identifying technologies to streamline reconciliation and reporting tasks.

• Assist in developing and documenting internal controls for cash, payables, and inventory management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounting roles.

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders.
