Job DescriptionProduction Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead and support the afternoon shift team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met while supervising a team of 20+ production associates within our food production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 20+ production associates to meet daily production goals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and sanitation standards (HACCP, GMPs, SQF).
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet operational targets.
- Conduct shift meetings, assign tasks, and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and employee performance.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the production floor.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing support and feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or related production environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
- Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
