Class A Driver
Gaia Flooring is a fast-growing B2B distributor of high-quality laminate and vinyl flooring. We’re looking for a reliable Class A Driver who will not only deliver products across our service area but also support warehouse operations as needed. This hybrid role is key to ensuring safe, compliant transportation and efficient warehouse flow.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm
Pay Rate: $25 - $31 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver flooring products to customer locations and other Gaia branches.
- Greet and engage clients with professionalism and positive customer service during deliveries and Will Calls.
- Perform warehouse duties including picking, packaging, loading/unloading, organizing inventory, and assisting with counts.
- Conduct and log pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, including forklifts and delivery trucks.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Report damaged or missing materials promptly to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and leadership to manage workload and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record (required)
- 1+ years of experience operating Class A commercial vehicles
- Must pass a DOT physical; ability to maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Forklift certification or willingness to train
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow structured delivery schedules
- Comfortable with warehouse duties, including frequent lifting up to 60 lbs. and repetitive movement (bending, pulling, pushing)
- Basic technology skills, including ability to operate a smartphone and use Google Suite for work tasks
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and professional conduct on the road and in the warehouse
