Job DescriptionThe Excalibur Group is currently seeking a Senior Planner for a local contract in Washington, DC.

** Will be subject to a background check prior to employment. **

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES

  • Serve as a senior expert, managing and performing advanced analysis to validate, refine, or improve operational plans and procedures.
  • Facilitate organizational dissemination of findings and recommendations using appropriate techniques to support decision-making.
  • Lead and guide group briefings and discussions to foster collaboration and drive the development of plans and strategic decisions.
  • Debrief stakeholders on the outcomes of collaborative efforts, ensuring lessons learned and actionable insights are clearly communicated.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Administration, or related field.
  • If you do not have a Bachelor's, the following may be substituted:
  • High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience
    • Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience
    • Professional certification may be substituted for an additional year of relevant experience.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience planning emergency management, or operational coordination experience.

PAY

  • $45/hour
