JOB DESCRIPTION
My client is looking for a mechanical inspector to join their growing federal project in Washington DC. This is a ground up construction of a federal office building out of a historic preservation site, and the mechanical inspector will be reviewing MEP designs, reviewing ongoing construction through site inspections to ensure all work is up to terms to building codes, and submitting all mechanical QA documentation to the end client. The QA specialist will also communicate effectively with key stakeholders, the general contractor, and key members of the client team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ year's of experience with oversight of mechanical component installation, design/spec reviews -- must be building construction exp (the larger, more complex the better)
- 7+ years total experience in QA/QC or Field Construction work - comfortable with construction site walks, QA documentation, and good communication with clients
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- federal project experience
- OSHA30 or QCM
