Job Summary:

The Production Technician will support the Production department by monitoring daily production data, maintaining databases, and ensuring accurate allocation of resources. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with field personnel and internal teams.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming daily production data and daily allocations for accuracy.
  • Maintain production databases and ensure data integrity.
  • Create and maintain allocation streams and hierarchy.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to identify and correct measurement data acquisition, data entry, or allocation inaccuracies.
  • Reconcile crude oil run tickets and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reconcile volume variances between measured volumes and purchaser statements.
  • Verify monthly sales point to well allocations.
  • Prepare monthly production data for Revenue Accounting.
  • Receive and catalogue gas analysis reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience with oil & gas production accounting software such as ProCount is helpful but not required.
  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED with related work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
