Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate is independently licensed in New Mexico and passionate about serving diverse populations, including adolescents, families, military personnel, veterans, and individuals experiencing trauma.
As an independently licensed clinician, the LPCC will provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making and contributing to a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or adolescent counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Conduct clinical assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments (SimplePractice + AI supported)
- Maintain ethical and legal standards in accordance with New Mexico counseling licensure regulations and HIPAA
- Manage and maintain an independent caseload and schedule
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and team members to ensure quality care and continuity of services
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Counseling or a related mental health field from an accredited program
- Current Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the State of New Mexico (required)
- Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders within scope of licensure
- Experience or strong interest in trauma, adolescents, families, military populations, or related clinical areas preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Pay: $50.00 $80.00 per hour (depending on experience and caseload)
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
License Requirement: Active New Mexico LPCC license (Required)
