Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a nonprofit organization based in Baltimore, Maryland. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while providing critical administrative support to the Mid-Atlantic region team. The ideal candidate will excel in organizational tasks and maintain a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Assist team members with the preparation of materials for meetings, events, and presentations.
• Generate detailed reports and lists from organizational databases to address departmental needs.
• Conduct donor research and provide insights to support fundraising initiatives.
• Track political contributions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain and update database information related to event recruitment and attendee management.
• Communicate effectively via email and phone to address inquiries and provide support.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars for team members.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, to complete various administrative tasks.
• Handle additional duties as assigned, ensuring adaptability to changing team needs.• Proven experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong skills in email correspondence and precise communication.
• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls effectively.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
