Full Charge Bookkeeper
IT & Professional Services Firm
We are seeking a senior Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the complete accounting function for an established IT and professional services firm. This role uses QuickBooks Desktop and a third-party payroll processor supporting 10+ employees. You will report directly to the Owner and work with an external CPA firm for year-end tax preparation.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks Desktop (AP, AR, GL, month-end close)
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, and AR aging
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare sales tax prepayments and quarterly filings
- Reconcile payroll entries from a third-party payroll processor
- Support purchasing, inventory, and basic administrative functions
Requirements
- 5–8+ years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Advanced QuickBooks Desktop experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience reconciling external payroll systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office
- Professional services or IT experience preferred
This is not an entry-level, Controller, or CFO role.
